🔹 BHĀRATĀYANA Volume 1, Issue 1 Published
It is with immense pleasure and profound gratitude that we announce the publication of the inaugural issue of BHĀRATĀYANA – AI-Assisted Interdisciplinary Journal of Indian Knowledge Systems, officially released on 23 June 2026.
The first issue is devoted to the theme:
This inaugural volume seeks to explore the enduring relevance of Indian Knowledge Systems in addressing contemporary challenges related to education, philosophy, technology, geopolitics, culture, ethics, and national development. Through interdisciplinary scholarship and critical inquiry, the journal aims to build meaningful bridges between India's intellectual heritage and the demands of the twenty-first century.
The publication of this inaugural issue coincides with the death anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee (23 June 1953)—scholar, educationist, statesman, patriot, and one of modern India's most influential intellectual leaders.
In recognition of his enduring contributions to education, national integration, cultural consciousness, and public life, this inaugural volume is respectfully dedicated to his sacred memory.
His commitment to knowledge, character, and national service continues to inspire generations of scholars, educators, and citizens.

Welcome to BHĀRATĀYANA, AI-Assisted interdisciplinary academic journal dedicated to the exploration, preservation, and contemporary interpretation of the rich traditions of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS).
India possesses one of the world's oldest and most diverse intellectual heritages, encompassing philosophy, language, science, mathematics, medicine, literature, governance, ecology, arts, and spirituality. These traditions continue to inspire critical inquiry and offer valuable insights into many of the challenges facing humanity today.
BHĀRATĀYANA has been established with the conviction that classical wisdom and modern scholarship should engage in meaningful dialogue. Our objective is to provide an inclusive academic platform where researchers, scholars, educators, and students can contribute original, interdisciplinary, and ethically grounded research that advances both national and global intellectual discourse.
We welcome contributions from diverse academic disciplines and encourage innovative perspectives that connect India's knowledge traditions with contemporary issues, emerging technologies, sustainable development, public policy, and cross-cultural understanding.
As a Diamond Open Access journal, BHĀRATĀYANA is committed to the free dissemination of knowledge, rigorous peer review, academic integrity, and intellectual excellence.
We invite scholars from India and around the world to join this collective endeavour of rediscovering, reinterpreting, and revitalizing India's enduring knowledge traditions for future generations.
May this journal become a meeting place where heritage inspires innovation, scholarship nurtures wisdom, and ideas transcend boundaries.
