Inaugural Issue: Volume 1, Issue 1 (June 2026)
Theme: Bridging Ancient Wisdom and Modern Inquiry
BHĀRATĀYANA: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Indian Knowledge Systems invites original, high-quality, and unpublished research papers, scholarly articles, essays, and book reviews for its upcoming inaugural issue.
We encourage scholars, faculties, and independent researchers to submit papers that explore traditional Indian wisdom through critical, philosophical, and multidisciplinary lenses.
We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics related to Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), including but not limited to:
Indian Philosophy & Logic (Nyāya, Vedānta, Bauddha, Jaina, and Western comparative perspectives)
Vedic & Upaniṣadic Literature
Ancient Indian Sciences, Mathematics, and Astronomy
Āyurveda, Yoga, and Holistic Health Systems
Arthaśāstra, Polity, and Ancient Governance Models
Sāhitya (Literature), Linguistics, and Aesthetics
Environmental Ethics and Sustainability in Indian Traditions
Manuscript Submission Deadline: July 31, 2026
Review Notification: Within 3–4 weeks of submission
Expected Date of Publication: September 2026
Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
Word Count: 3,000 to 6,000 words (including references).
Language: Primary language is English. Scholarly submissions in Sanskrit, Bengali, or Hindi are also welcome, provided they include an English Abstract and Keywords.
Review Process: Double-Blind Peer Review.
Publication Fee: Zero APC (No Article Processing Charges). This is a Diamond Open Access journal.
